Adjustable Rack

Plywood and a bit of hardware is all it takes to make this rack. It's adjustable to meet storage needs of the hoses and cords in your shop.

I have a number of cords, hoses, and other items in my shop that are best stored by hanging on a rack. Rather than buying off-the-shelf hooks or hangers, I built the rack you see here.

The simple plywood construction is screwed to my wall studs. Long hex bolts serve as hooks, and can be positioned anywhere along the length of the rack to make room for each item.
