Self-adhesive sandpaper is great, but it can be difficult to cut it cleanly from the roll. So I came up with this handy dispenser to solve the problem.
It consists of a plywood base sandwiched between two guide rails. One of the rails has a tall face at one end with a dowel mounted on it. The dowel allows the sandpaper to unroll easily. A plywood strip with an added hacksaw blade lets you cut the paper to length. By installing a measuring tape along the guide rail, you can measure out the precise length of sandpaper you need before cutting it.
