After building this Harvest-style table, it is time to add a finish. Because this is more of a relaxed, informal style of furniture, I chose to go with a two-part finish. For the base we are using an off-white latex paint, and for the top I'm applying a natural oil finish. This color scheme will play really well together and also help to wear the bump and dings of everyday life of the family dining table.
