I grew tired of always fighting with the cord on my power tools. It just seemed to be in the way while sanding, routing or using any other corded tool. So I hit on a simple solution to the problem, as you can see here.
You start with a long piece of wood and cut a slot on one end to hold the cord up and out of the way. Then round the edges of the square board on your router table so it will fit neatly in a dog hole on your workbench. Now your cords are contained and never in the way.
