Logan and I are teaching classes for the Des Moines Woodworkers club this fall. I've been doing it for 10 years or more. It's a lot of fun and a great way to pass on the joys of woodworking.
Logan kicked off a class on the project we called a shelf box. I built a version for a video and then gave as a gift. The project combines a lot of woodworking skills in an accessible project.
Logan provides materials (he is a sawyer afterall). And it's interesting to hear the wood choices and ideas that people want for their projects.
Later in the fall of 2024, I'm teaching a class on making a small-ish tool chest. Here again, there are quite a few lessons packed into an unassuming case.
