On this episode of the ShopNotes Podcast, John, Logan, and Phil give an update on how they are holding up in the pandemic quarantine. John has started building a backyard playhouse for his kids, Phil is working on a compact router table, and Logan is working on a poker table and putting together a saw mill... will they ever finish their projects? Stay tuned.
Current Projects:
Logan — The base of the poker table is complete, and the top is glued up. This thing is massive! The miters on the top needed clever solutions for clamping and some help with minor gaps.
John — The backyard skyscraper is coming along very nicely. Who knew a play set requires that much wood!
Phil — With the extra time in his shop, he is going through incomplete projects and trying to get them done. One is a infill shoulder plane that was a photo prop for a plane shown in ShopNotes 88. Rather than stick with the stock plan look, he is mocking up a different look in a piece of plywood.
