When I’m sanding, there’s nothing as annoying as the shop vacuum hose catching on the edge of the bench and pulling. So, I built a hose clamp to prevent that from happening.
Hanger. The clamp I built uses a conduit hanger attached to a block with a bolt and T-nut. This allows the the hose to swivel as I sand. I clamp the block in my bench vise, and clamp the shop vacuum hose with attached sanding hose in the conduit hanger.
