Occasionally I use my router table without the fence. But I never had a place to store the fence, so it ended up on my workbench or leaning precariously against the side of the router table. The two brackets you see in the photo above solved the problem.
The brackets are made of plywood. I cut them to fit my router table, taking the width of the legs and the size of the fence into consideration.
Then I attached each bracket to the legs of my router table with four woodscrews.
