On a recent project, I needed to drill some angled holes. The task is a piece of cake with this shop-made jig. It’s quick to build and easily clamps to your drill press table. To make setup fast, I marked the base with lines to indicate where to locate the bar for different angles.
The jig is just a plywood base and top with a hardwood cleat. The top is connected to the base with a continuous hinge. Finally, a hardwood index bar is sandwiched between the base and top to set the drilling angle.
