Easy Pipe Clamp Padding
Denis Manigart of Ampang Jaya, Malaysia, couldn’t justify the expense of buying clamp pads for all of his pipe clamps. Instead, he made some out of plywood. Each pad has a hole for the pipe to fit through and a groove to secure it to the clamp with a cable tie.
Moisture Control
Dan Martin of Galena, Ohio, was having trouble with his dowels and biscuits absorbing moisture while stored in a container that wasn’t air-tight. To prevent this, he now stores them in resealable bags with several dessicant packs to absorb moisture.
